Privacy Policy

This explains what QuoteMate (subquote.io) collects, why, and your choices. We keep it short because we collect little.
What we collect
- Your account: the email address you sign up with.
- Your business numbers: the wage, overhead, margin, travel rate, home-base address, and trade you enter so the app can price your jobs.
- Your quotes: the job answers and prices you generate, and their status (draft, sent, won, lost).
- Customer addresses: when you look up travel distance, the address is sent to our mapping provider to measure the drive. We store the resulting quote, not a separate customer database.
How we use it
To run the Service: to calculate your rates and quotes, remember your settings, and show you aggregated benchmarks. We don't sell your personal data or show your individual quotes or numbers to other users.
Benchmarks and anonymization
To show what tradespeople near you charge, we pool quote prices across users and report only aggregate statistics — and only once enough different users have contributed that no single one can be identified. Your business name, email, and exact location are never part of what others see. You can opt your data out of the pool anytime from your account; you'll still see benchmarks.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to operate the app, and share only what each needs:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Vercel — hosting.
- OpenRouteService — geocoding and driving distance for the addresses you look up.
- Our payment processor — to handle subscriptions when you upgrade (it receives your payment details, not us).
Your choices
You can opt out of benchmarks, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your profile and quotes.
