Terms of Service
Last updated July 16, 2026
These terms govern your use of QuoteMate (the “Service”), a quoting tool for tradespeople available at subquote.io. By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for the activity under your account. Give us an email address you control.
Trial and payment
New accounts include a 14-day free trial. After it ends, continued use of quoting features requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current period. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial months unless required by law.
What the Service is — and isn't
QuoteMate helps you calculate prices from the numbers you enter. The prices, ranges, and benchmarks it shows are estimates to inform your own judgment. They are not financial, legal, or business advice, and we don't guarantee any outcome, win rate, or profit. You set your own prices and are responsible for the quotes you give your customers.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no attempts to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer it, and no using it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.
Peer benchmarks
The Service shows aggregated, anonymized benchmark ranges built from quotes across many users. Individual quotes are never shown to anyone else. You can opt your data out of the benchmark pool at any time from your account, and you still see benchmarks either way.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running but don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; if we make material changes we'll note a new date here.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is,” and our liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
